Evgenia Papazisi is a filmmaker and actress from Athens, Greece. She
recently finished her master’s degree in creative film production at
Catalyst - Institute for Creative Arts and Technology. Her bachelor’s
degree was in English and Drama and she graduated from Queen Mary
University of London where she mainly focused on stage directing and
performance art. She is interested in exploring the concepts of human
connection, community and romance within the socio-political context of
the patriarchal and capitalist western societies through the mediums of
film and performance art. Her practice aims to examine the various influences of the individualism that is enforced by this system on the human
experience.
